Hey Very Happy . I am not surprised about being the only person so far from Trinidad and Tobago to join MSO. My country is small *total population of 1.3 million* Smile. Techno, raves, stuff like that is not very popular. For example, if i said I like techno and go to raves, i would hear comments like " Serious?!", "You like that kind of stuff?",etc.LOL. The raves I usually go to would have at most, 200 people. Even at the rave very few people dance, lol, they jus get drunk and watch some of my friends and I dance Very Happy . So far, I showed 2 friends the shuffle and they said they liked it, I am not sure they would do it seriously though, lol.

The first raves in Melbourne when the shuffle was being created were small too, 200 people or so. I liked them because you could meet new people easily. The big ones 5000-10,000 nobody really talks to anyone. They just stand around with friends in the crowd.

What sort of music do most people like in your area ?

Since Trinidad and Tobago is in the Caribbean, most of the people listen to Caribbean music like Soca, Calypso, Dancehall, Reggae, Chutney Soca, Parang, Hip-Hop, R&B. The different cultures in our country influence our music. For example, the calypso, dancehall, reggae is from the Afro-Caribbean, the chutney soca is from the east indian influence, parang from the spanish influence. There are many people who listen to rock music.
