hej daz !

two days ... ok keep it up but.

i wouldnt try to dance to fast music like this one you chosen.

please try to practice without music - give yourself your own beat.

i saw you dont realy get the 3 step rm .... its not so easy.

i dont know wich tutorial you saw but the running man is (basicly) a 3 step thing.

so here i got somethin for you :

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=53A3320357B5DDC3

this vid explains the rm quite good :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezd4yt-PAEk&feature=PlayList&p=53A3320357B5DDC3&index=2

practice this things with your own speed and own rythm - on music you can dance later when you on beat. Wink

i can give you a second advice - dont train too much ! more sequences at a day but short - when you get tired after 15/20/25 minutes stop training for the double time you practiced.

thats important cause youre body and head cant train well when they are tired and you practice no lean moves. when you practice this way too long , it could happen that you do technicaly failure. this failures are hard to train them away (to correct them)

i practiced just 2-3 times a day some minutes - sometimes everyday - sometimes 3 days brake.

some guys i know trained everyday very much and they had a long way to correct their failures.

i hope you keep up

is it bad that i kinda created my own way to do running man?
i put my own style into it, ive nevr seen it done before...
its harder stomping and a lot of throwing hand gestures, moving around..its hard to explain, but im just learning how to hardstyle...should i just learn it normal first, and THEN add my style? or what? thnx in advance.

no - of course not ! 1. priority is that you have fun whatever you dance!

hardstyle530pro wrote:...should i just learn it normal first, and THEN add my style? or what? thnx in advance.

yes i think so - you got later more posibilitys - you will learn much own styles - you will get through all in youre shuffletime.

youre skill and shuffle movements undesrtanding will grow and grow if ya understand the nature of this moves - then you can create kind of moves that you are now not able to invent.

a own kind of how you do the rm or ms is a real good thing - every advanced shuffler got a way he do the rm or ms.

if you starting and doing the 2step rm - everybody see you are a newbiee

if you learn the 2 step after you skilled with the 3 step - everyone will se you doin it cause you want it - if you are a neewbie they see that you cant do it with 3 step.

its a kind of bodylanguage that you learn after you learned the real basic shuffle moves - the first shuffle moves.

the rest in future will be up to you

good luck

What do you mean by failure? I don't understand how someone can 'technically fail' at melbourne shuffle. you speak as though there are set dance moves and you are the only person who can teach them..lol

sorry if i have misunderstood what you meant..?

As i'm sure you have already gathered, melbourne shuffle is about personal expression and freedom through dance! I don't think there's any need to learn how to do the running man in a certain way... Do what feels comfortable and over time you will naturally develop new moves that you can incorporate into your dance.

By all means learn as many different moves as possible, because at the end of the day I'm sure you would rather have your own style instead of looking like every other kid on youtube! Smile

Good luck and happy shuffling!! Hit me up if you have any more questions.

p.s the reason not many people are online at once is because the members are spread all across the globe Smile
