| hard dance is cheezy mainstream commercial dance, hardcore is something that makes your ears bleed if it's done right  |

| Hardcore in dance music was common around mid 1990's often called gabba/hakken (hard) in dutch, and sort of d+b (drum and bass) with an industrial edge (nasty-in a good sense - 8bit samples) in german dance. Hard dance is a generic marketing term that became common in the early 2000's with Dj's trying to butch up some pretty pissy dance music and give it a tough sounding edge. Generally it was never really hard, just fast and overall tedius and forgetable. Often the two crowds would never mix, hardcore is extreme, hard dance is radio friendly middle of the road. - of course I'm talking with extreme bias  |

| Beethoven classical. Some of my favorite composers are Chopin, Rachmaninov, Bach, Clementi, Ravel, etc Need to check the spelling on those names though XD I also like jazz and blues.
