HOW TO VOTE

Each vote equals 1 +/yes vote.

MOVES
How well does a contender execute their Shuffle moves (See their list of moves in the Moves/Skills box in their Battle Character profile)

STYLE
How well does the contender exhibit their style, such as Hardstyle, Oldskool, jump or a personal style, includes music.

ABILITY
In the contenders Battle Character the Ability bar sets the level the contender regards themselves to be. We expect them to be honest otherwise they could be judged like a pro-oldskooler at level 8/10 and not a noob 3 months in at level 1/10.

CHOREOGRAPHY
How well does a contender sequence their moves together.


WINNERS
* The outright winner will be on the highest votes, there is the possibility for a tie so we can do demolition (elimination) rounds to find a winner.

* All contenders in this Fun Battle receive a private veiw coupon for an unseen clip from Global Shuffle the Movie.

* The outright winner of this fun battle will receive an extra, deep-underground clip from the Global Shuffle movie, 15 mins long !

When we start the battle officially High Noon. 15 Feb 2011, we'll reset the poll with all contenders names and zero all the counts. That will be the official start.

If you are new or unsure of your ability compared to others, here's a great chance to measure yourself.

Don't expect to win, but see how you rank, and then you'll have a benchmark, a point of reference for your own personal development.

It can also be a way to test run your own threshold level, see how you function under pressure, you might be surprised good and bad

We'll kick off the battle in about 10-14 days, give everyone a chance to prepare, then 14 days to shoot your vid and post - we will post the keyword which you need to include as text somewhere in shot to prove it's a current vid.

Then 14 days after that as the final vote. I'll stream line it a bit in the first post to make all that easiers to read.

If you're planning on doing a lot of battles, it might be worth getting hold of a marker whiteboard or some fridge magnet letters or something to do the keyword. Or just a letter/A4 size sheet of paper will do.

You are welcome to decorate the sign with your name, the number of battles you've entered etc like a serial number or something. We need some ribbons for you to print out to I guess

Is there not a way to make 4 separate polls for A, B, C, and D? Maybe that will make the voting a bit simplified... I don't know though.
However, awesome idea. I'm definitely interested.

yeah it's still messy, I have very little control over the poll layout, even just spaces between the contenders. But at least this way there's no doubt with votes, it's all one thread, and only admin access, so there's no room to fiddle, it's an all or nothing sort of system

QUESTION!!! Will the shufflers be separated into categories like beginner, intermediate, veteran, etc? Also, how will the tournament be played out (Round robin, elimination, etc.)

its a fun battle there really is no true winner its all for fun and advice.
